Tooksook Bay Community PlanningRurAL CAP provides training and technical assistance to communities that wish to engage in community planning activities. Services include training conferences and events, as well as on-site assistance in developing a community plan.  We use a unique planning tool that helps villages tell their unique stories, and plan for the future while embracing their values, culture, and vision.  Community plans based on this tool meet the requirements of the Denali Commission for a general community plan.

RurAL CAP has an appointed liaison to the Denali Commission. That employee is on full-time loan to the Denali Commission. 2006 Community PlanningThe liaison shares information about the Commission with RurAL CAP's staff and board, while bringing the experience and perspective of RurAL CAP to Denali Commission programs.  For more information on the RurAL CAP/Denali Commission partnership, contact:  Janet Hall, RurAL CAP/Denali Commision Liasion at (907) 271-4490 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots.
