Programs include the Rural Providers' Conference, BIRCH AmeriCorps, Youth In Action, Early Decisions FASD, Tobacco Prevention and HIV & STD Prevention.
This program actively supports Alaska's Native Sobriety Movement. Substance abuse prevention workshops and counseling services are provided to all staff, including AmeriCorps, VISTA, Head Start, Early Head Start and child development program staff, their families and program parents.
Resource development and planning for personal, family and community development, parenting and substance abuse prevention are priorities for the program. Culturally relevant workshops, information and training are available.
